    Students who are enrolled in summer courses and residing in the state of Maryland are eligible for Counseling Center services.

    Summer hours for The Student Counseling Center are Monday through Thursday from 9am-5pm and Fridays from 9am-12pm. All services during summer months will be provided virtually as staff are working from home. For students who are enrolled in summer courses, located in Maryland, and are interested in requesting an appointment, please complete the appointment request form or call our appointment line at 410-337-6481.

    To schedule an urgent appointment, call the Counseling Center's main line at 410-337-6481 and leave a voicemail message stating your need for an urgent appoinment. Students will be assessed during this initial conversation. The student can expect an appointment within 3-5 business hours or the following business day. Any students in need of immediate mental health support by a licensed mental health clinician by phone can call our mental health line 24/7 at 855-236-4278.

    Community Mental Health Services

    It is recommended that current and prospective students in need of ongoing, long-term mental health support (including psychiatric medications) familiarize themselves with their insurance benefits, particularly with regards to authorization of ongoing mental health services in the state of Maryland.

    Students interested in locating off-campus providers may utilize WellTrack Connect, formerly The Shrink Space, for customizable searches of and direct messaging to off-campus providers and resources. Use your Goucher email address to create an account on WellTrack Connect's sign up form.

    Medical Transportation Program

    The Medical Transportation Program provides free transportation to non-emergency physical or mental health medical appointments through Uber. Please visit the Medical Assistance & Transport page for more information.
